Timing, goals, and level of training all play a part in figuring out your pre-workout supplement and nutrition plan. For an elite athlete like Craig, there's a specific formula for a successful training session. Below Craig peels back the lid on his pre-workout supplements and nutrition.

Craig on pre-workout supplements: "My pre-workout supplement regimen will depend on my goals. If I am looking to lean out, or I am focused on maintaining my physique, I’ll turn to C4 about 20-30 minutes before my workout. If I want to add size I’ll use M5. Sometimes I’ll even add a carb supplement and one scoop of B-BCAAs."

Craig on a pre-workout nutrition: "I need to make sure I am getting adequate fuel per day for my goals so I follow a set of guidelines for my diet, structuring each of my meals to include a specific amount of carbs, protein and fats. About 1-2 hours before training, I focus on protein and complex carbs. If I train first thing in the morning, I’ll have fast acting carbs and amino acids to help with my energy and performance."
